The philosophy of the Firm is to provide high quality, timely professional services to all clients; to maintain the Firm’s expertise via continuing education in all areas of accounting; taxation; financial planning; estate planning; management and computer training; to provide a positive work environment for all employees and to participate actively in the community by volunteering our time and resources.

The shareholders of the firm include Tom Bigelow and Heather Ashton. Tom has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1977 and received his designation as a Certified Financial Planner in January 2001. In addition, he is the Investment Adviser Representative for the Firm.

Heather A. Ashton joined the firm in August 2003 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993 and has been practicing in public accounting since 1989. Heather completed her Masters in Taxation from Bentley College in December 2006.

The Firm presently employs five people with various levels of experience. Existing clients presently include approximately 160 corporate, partnership and trust clients and 370 individual accounts. These clients are located primarily, but not exclusively, in the New England states. The industries served include construction, retailing, manufacturing, professional, hotel and restaurants, marinas and golf courses. Services are currently rendered in the areas of tax, accounting, financial planning, estates and trusts, business planning for emerging companies, projections and budgeting, computer consulting, as well as other traditionally performed accounting services.
